Why go

Anmyeondo Maze Park is built around the largest hedge maze in Korea, set on the wooded slopes of Anmyeondo island in Chungcheongnam-do. The main maze covers nearly 5,000 square meters of cypress and boxwood walls about two meters high, deliberately challenging enough that the average completion takes 30 to 60 minutes. Beyond the maze the grounds include several smaller themed mazes, a flower garden, observation tower (useful when you give up and want to see the answer from above), and a small cafe. It's strongest as a family destination but works for any group that enjoys puzzles. Allow about two hours. Pair with Kkotji Beach for the West Coast sunset.
