Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-26
1. Overview
Korea Code ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We do not require accounts and do not sell personal data.
2. Data we collect
Browser local storage (no servers)
ktstyle:draft-places— places you marked "Add to plan" (kept on your device only)ktstyle:recent-searches— your last 8 search terms (kept on your device only)
You can clear these by clearing browser site data at any time.
Trip plans (server-stored, anonymous)
When you create a shareable trip plan, we store the plan parameters (regions, codes, days, pace, optional start_date, place IDs) and a random share token. No personal identifiers are attached. Plans are accessed only via the share URL.
Aggregated analytics (Plausible)
We use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless and privacy-friendly tool. It records page views and a few custom events (e.g., "Plan Create Submit") in aggregate. No IP addresses are stored, no personal data is collected, and no tracking cookies are set.
3. Third-party services
- Vercel — hosting and CDN (subject to Vercel's privacy policy)
- Supabase — database and storage (subject to Supabase's privacy policy)
- Plausible — analytics (cookieless, EU-hosted)
- Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) — public tourism data source (KOGL license)
4. Cookies
We do not set tracking cookies. Browser local storage is used (see §2) but is not transmitted to any server. Plausible Analytics does not use cookies.
5. Your rights
Because we collect minimal data and require no account, most rights (deletion, access) are exercisable directly: clear your browser site data, or stop using a share token URL. For trip plan deletion requests, contact us.
6. Children
This service is not directed at children under 13.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect changes.
