Last updated: 2026-04-26

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Korea Code ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please discontinue use.

2. Service description

Korea Code is a free, bilingual travel discovery and itinerary planning service for visitors to Korea. Travel information aggregated from public Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) APIs and our own editorial content.

3. Content licensing

Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) data is provided under the Korea Open Government License (KOGL Type 1 / Type 3 depending on the source). KOGL Type 3 content (e.g., some photos) carries non-commercial use restrictions; we attribute and label such content. Editorial content (blog posts, travel basics, code/region copy) authored by us is © Korea Code.

4. User conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use automated scraping or excessive crawling that disrupts service
  • Attempt to bypass rate limiting or security measures
  • Use the service to spread spam, malware, or malicious content
  • Misrepresent the source or authorship of editorial content

5. Disclaimer of warranties

Information is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Operating hours, fees, closed days, and event schedules may change without notice. Always verify critical details (passports, immigration, restaurant reservations, festival dates) with the official source before traveling.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Korea Code shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including travel disruptions, missed connections, or financial losses.

7. External links

We may link to external websites (official venue homepages, booking sites). We are not responsible for content on third-party sites.

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
