Metasequoia Land is a small private theme park built around the famous metasequoia (dawn redwood) tree-tunnel landscape that defines Damyang, Jeollanam-do, set adjacent to the longer Damyang Metasequoia Road. The park combines a curated section of mature metasequoia plantings with low-key family-friendly attractions: a small open-air amusement zone, a children's play structure, a forest café, walking-and-photo paths inside the planted grove, and seasonal garden displays. Compared with the famous public Metasequoia Road, Metasequoia Land works as a complementary fee-paying landscaped venue, particularly useful for families with young children who want a more contained, seating-and-shade-rich experience inside the same broader Damyang dawn-redwood landscape. Best paired with the public Metasequoia Road, Juknokwon bamboo forest, and the Soswaewon traditional garden on a Damyang day.
