Bandi Land (무주 반디랜드)
Bandi Land is a curated attraction in Korea — full details, hours, and access info on the official Korea Tourism page.
Why go
Bandi Land in Muju is a small experiential park named after the firefly ("bandi" in Korean) — Muju is one of the few regions in Korea where fireflies still breed in the wild thanks to clean mountain water and minimal light pollution. The park combines a firefly research center, a small natural-history museum, an observatory dome, and a campground with cabins and tent sites. The summer firefly viewing season (late June through early July) is the headline event, with guided dusk walks into the breeding stream. Outside firefly season the observatory and museum still anchor a useful family stop. Reservations essential during firefly season. Pair with the Muju Resort or Deogyusan National Park.
