Bomun Tourist Complex (경주 보문관광단지)

Bomun Tourist Complex is a major designated tourist district in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, set on the shores of artificial Bomun Lake as Gyeongju's centralized tourism-and-resort cluster. The complex spans a large coordinated area with multiple international resorts and hotels, the Bomun Lake itself with lake-side walking-and-cycling paths, themed parks (including the Gyeongju World amusement park and several themed cultural venues), restaurants, and convention facilities. The complex was developed as part of the Korean government's broader plan to position Gyeongju as a major international tourism destination based on its UNESCO Silla heritage status. The Bomun area combines tourism-and-resort infrastructure with broader Gyeongju cultural-heritage day-trip access. Best as a Gyeongju lodging base, paired with the broader UNESCO Gyeongju Historic Areas walking itineraries.
