Boryeong Mud Festival (보령머드축제)

The Boryeong Mud Festival is one of South Korea's most widely recognized summer events, held annually on Daecheon Beach in Boryeong, South Chungcheong Province. The festival centers on mud sourced from the Boryeong tidal flats, which locals have long associated with mineral-rich skincare properties. Visitors engage in mud pools, mud slides, mud wrestling arenas, and body-painting zones set up along the beachfront.
