Why go

Busan Cine Road is a public cultural promenade along the eastern Centum-and-Marine City coastline of Busan, set up to celebrate Busan's identity as Korea's leading film city — the home of the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) since 1996. The road threads handprints and signature plates of Korean and international film figures who have visited BIFF, public sculptures with film themes, and interpretive panels on Korean film history. It runs along the waterfront with views back across Marine City's tall residential towers and out toward the open sea. The road is a continuous walking experience rather than a fixed museum, and works best as an evening walk paired with the BIFF venues, the Busan Cinema Center, and dinner along Marine City. Strongest during the BIFF festival window in October.
