Buyeo National Museum is a curated attraction in Korea — full details, hours, and access info on the official Korea Tourism page.
Why go
Buyeo National Museum is the dedicated national museum on Baekje-period material from the Buyeo region — Buyeo was Baekje's final capital (after relocation from Hanseong and Ungjin) from 538 CE until the kingdom's 660 fall. The museum holds the most comprehensive Korean public collection on late-Baekje material, including the famous Baekje Geumdongdaehyangno (Gilt-bronze Incense Burner, a national treasure considered one of the most exquisite single objects in all of Korean cultural heritage), gold ornaments, ceramics, weapons, and substantial documentation on the broader Baekje cultural exchange with Japan and Tang China. Free entry. Bilingual interpretation. Allow about 2 hours. Pair with the Buyeo-area UNESCO Baekje Historic Areas sites including Busosanseong Fortress and Gungnamji Pond.
