Cheongpung Cable Car (청풍호반케이블카)

Cheongpung Cable Car runs from the lakeshore at Cheongpung in Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do, up to a panoramic ridge above the long emerald reservoir. The ten-minute ride climbs roughly 700 meters in elevation, and the upper station opens onto a wide viewing deck with views of Cheongpung Lake stretched below and the Sobaek mountains layered to the south. A separate restaurant cafe and a small skywalk with glass bottom panels extend the visit. Round-trip riding plus deck time runs about an hour. Reservations recommended on weekends and during autumn foliage. Pair with the Cheongpung Cultural Heritage Complex on the lakeshore for relocated traditional buildings rescued before the reservoir filled.
