Cheongsong Premium Birch Forest (청송 자작나무 명품숲)

Cheongsong Premium Birch Forest is a famous public birch grove in Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, set on a managed forestry plot where mature white-barked birch trees create one of Korea's most-photographed birch landscape compositions. The grove's distinctive visual character — tall straight white birch trunks rising in dense plantings against the surrounding green-and-seasonal landscape — has made it a major destination for photography-and-natural-landscape enthusiasts. Walking paths thread the birch grove, with informal photo zones at peak viewpoints. The site is most striking in late autumn when the birch leaves turn golden yellow against the white trunks, and in winter when the snow-covered birch grove takes on a near-monochrome quality.
