Cheonmachong Tomb) is a curated attraction in Korea — full details, hours, and access info on the official Korea Tourism page.
Cheonmachong is a 5th-century Silla royal tomb in Gyeongju's Daereungwon Tomb Complex — one of the most important tomb excavations in Korean archaeology because of the extraordinary grave goods recovered. The tomb is named after the painted 'cheonma' (heavenly horse) saddle flap recovered from inside, the only known Silla painting on hide ever found. The tomb is one of the few Silla tombs open to the public for interior visitation, with reconstructed grave goods displayed inside. For travelers visiting Gyeongju, Cheonmachong is the strongest single tomb experience — combining royal-tomb scale with the only physical pre-modern Korean painting most visitors will ever see in situ.
