Chojeong Mineral Spring is the natural carbonated mineral spring in central Korea — the source water that gave Chojeong Healing Village its identity, and one of the world's three major natural-carbonated mineral springs alongside ones in Germany and the United States. The spring water is naturally fizzy due to its mineral profile, with documented reference in Joseon-era records that include accounts of King Sejong having visited the area for the spring's reputed health benefits. The spring site itself is preserved as a public-access source where visitors can sample the natural fizzy water directly.
