Danuri Aquarium (단양 다누리아쿠아리움)

Danuri Aquarium in Danyang, Chungcheongbuk-do, is a public freshwater aquarium dedicated specifically to Korean and Asian freshwater species — a relatively rare specialization in Korea, where most aquariums focus on marine species. The collection covers about 230 freshwater species across 40,000 individuals, with featured zones on the Han River system, the Nakdonggang system, the Geumgang system, and broader Asian freshwater habitats including the Yangtze and Mekong. The featured Korean native cyprinid fish (chub, minnow, bitterling) are species rarely seen in commercial aquariums. About 90 minutes.
