d.forest is a large dog-themed nature park in Chuncheon, Gangwon, that combines an off-leash forest play area, a dog cafe, dog hotel, dog-friendly camping, and an indoor agility course. The grounds are extensive, with separated zones for small, medium, and large dogs to play freely without the usual leash-and-bag restrictions. For Korean families traveling with their dogs, this is a destination in itself, and many visitors stay overnight. Day-use tickets are required, and dogs need their basic vaccination records. Even dogless visitors come for the cafe and the picture-postcard mountain setting. Best in spring and autumn. Pair with Nami Island and Chuncheon's lake district.
