Dori Village Ginkgo Tree Forest (도리마을은행나무숲)

Dori Village Ginkgo Tree Forest is a rural village in central Korea where a substantial cluster of mature ginkgo trees turns brilliant golden yellow in mid-to-late November, creating a dense seasonal forest landscape that has become a destination for autumn-color tourism. The trees were planted as part of older village landscape design and have matured into a coherent canopy that drops golden leaves across the village lanes, courtyards, and surrounding fields during the peak fall window. The village functions as a working agricultural community rather than a tourist site, so visitor experience involves walking through residents' lanes with respect for the village's daily life. Best timed precisely to the late-November ginkgo peak; outside that window the village is much quieter and the visual draw substantially weaker.
