Jeonju Hanji Museum is a public institutional museum in Jeonju dedicated to Jeonju hanji — the Jeonju area's distinctive tradition of handmade mulberry-bark paper that has been one of Korea's most highly regarded paper-making traditions for centuries. The museum walks visitors through the history of Jeonju hanji from the Goryeo period onward, the technical-and-craft aspects of hanji production, the cultural-and-artistic role of hanji in Korean visual tradition (calligraphy, painting, traditional book-making, decorative craft), and contemporary hanji-craft adaptations.
