Eunpa Lake Park (Eunpa Recreation Area)

Eunpa Lake Park in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do, is a public lakeside park in central Gunsan, one of the more atmospheric urban lakeside parks in the southwestern Korean coastal-city landscape. The park is centered on Eunpa Lake — a compact artificial lake (about 700m long) with a paved walking-and-cycling path around the entire perimeter — combined with themed garden zones (a Korean traditional garden, an azalea garden, a rose garden, and a cherry-blossom promenade), a small children's playground, and rest pavilions at scenic points along the water. The park's specific character comes from the seasonal color rotation — cherry blossoms in early April, azaleas in mid-late April, roses in May-June, autumn foliage in late October to early November, and the winter lakeside atmosphere. The lake's central position in Gunsan makes it a natural anchor for both morning-walking-residents and afternoon-visiting-tourists, and the surrounding neighborhood infrastructure (small cafes, bakeries, family restaurants) supports longer visits.
