Geumneung Port (금능포구)

Geumneung Port is a small fishing port on Jeju Island's northwestern coast in the Hallim area, set close to Hyeopjae Beach and within walking distance of the broader northwest-coast tourist cluster. The port works year-round as the home base for a small Jeju fishing fleet, with a wholesale-and-retail seafood market that runs through the day. Around the port edge, casual seafood restaurants serve the day's catch in raw, grilled, and stewed forms. The port also offers some of the most photographed sunset views on northwest Jeju, with the sun setting over the open West Sea framed by the port's small fishing boats and the nearby Biyangdo Island silhouette in the distance.
