Gubongsan Observatory Café Street is a clustered cluster of cafés along the upper-slope viewpoint area of Gubongsan in Chuncheon, Gangwon, set up as a destination café-and-view street that combines independent cafés with one of Chuncheon's most-cited natural-view destinations. The street features a cluster of cafés, restaurants, and dessert shops along the upper-slope road that leads to the Gubongsan summit observatory, with most establishments designed around outdoor viewing decks and large windows that frame the broad view back across Chuncheon city, the surrounding mountain ridges, and Soyang Lake in the distance. The street has become a major weekend destination for Chuncheon-area visitors and Seoul-area weekenders. Best at sunset for the strongest view experience, paired with the Gubongsan Observatory itself.
