Gusipo Haesu World (Gusipo Seawater World) (구시포 해수찜월드)
Gusipo Haesu World is a curated attraction in Korea — full details, hours, and access info on the official Korea Tourism page.
Why go
Gusipo Haesu World is a seawater spa complex on the Buan coast in Jeollabuk-do, drawing heated saltwater directly from the Yellow Sea for therapeutic bathing — the local seawater-steam tradition ("haesu-jjim") taken to a more polished spa scale. The facility includes multiple temperature seawater pools, traditional Korean dry-heat "hanjeungmak" rooms, salt-steam chambers, and an outdoor cliff-side pool overlooking the sea. The salt-rich water is locally believed to ease respiratory and joint conditions. Day-use available without lodging. Best as a half-day reset on a longer Buan or Jeollabuk West Coast itinerary. Pair with Mohang Beach or Chaeseokgang cliffs to the south.
