Hado Beach (하도해변)

Hado Beach is a long, gently curving beach on Jeju Island's eastern coast, stretching about 1 km of fine pale sand along a quieter section of the eastern coastline that runs noticeably less developed than the busier southern Jeju resort cluster. The beach is wider than many Jeju beaches at low tide, with a long shallow shore that runs cool and clear, and the back-beach edge is framed by natural pine-and-grass landscape rather than tall hotel construction. Hado is widely cited as one of the more atmospheric and less-crowded beaches on eastern Jeju, particularly off-season — many travelers learn about it through traveler-to-traveler word of mouth rather than mainstream tourism marketing. Pairs naturally with Seongsan Ilchulbong sunrise peak, the broader eastern-Jeju Olle Trail itineraries, and the Manjanggul Lava Tube.
