Haeundae Green Railway (Mipo-Songjeong)
Haeundae Green Railway) is a curated attraction in Korea — full details, hours, and access info on the official Korea Tourism page.
Why go
Haeundae Green Railway connects Mipo (just past Haeundae Beach) to Songjeong Beach along a former coastal rail corridor that has been converted into one of Korea's most distinctive seaside walking and cycling paths. The 4.8-kilometer route runs directly above the rocky shoreline, with several tunnels, glass-floored sections over the rocks below, and cliffside viewpoints. A scenic Sky Capsule pod and a tourist train run on the original tracks alongside the foot path. The route stays open year-round and is especially photogenic in the morning when the sun rises directly behind the islands offshore. Plan two hours one-way for the walking route. Pair Mipo with seafood lunch and Songjeong with surfing.
