Hanbyeok Tunnel

Hanbyeok Tunnel is a small atmospheric pedestrian tunnel in Jeonju, central Korea, set inside a low rocky outcrop along the Jeonjucheon-stream riverside walking path near the historic Hanbyeokdang pavilion. The tunnel cuts through the rock formation as a short passage that visually connects two sections of the riverside path, and walking through brings visitors from one section to the other with a brief moment of dim, cool atmosphere inside the passage — a signature stop on the walk between the Jeonju Hanok Village and the Nambu Market area.
