Why go

Hueree Natural Park is one of Jeju's flagship seasonal flower parks, on the south flank of Hallasan in Seogwipo. The grounds rotate through tightly choreographed displays — cherry blossoms in March, hydrangeas in early summer, sunflowers in late summer, pink muhly grass in autumn — so the park looks essentially different every six weeks. Beyond the flowers, mini-zoo enclosures with miniature pigs and goats, citrus picking in season, and a small spa cafe make this a deliberate full-half-day destination, especially for families. Allow three hours. Most photogenic an hour after opening. Pair with Cheonjiyeon Falls and the Seogwipo waterfront for a full south-Jeju day.
