Jeongok Port (전곡항)

Jeongok Port is a working fishing port on the western coast of Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, set up as one of the metropolitan area's nearer-to-Seoul West Sea coastal-fishing destinations. The port works year-round as the home base for a small Hwaseong-area fishing fleet, with a wholesale-and-retail seafood market that runs through the day. The port is also a major Korean marina destination, with hundreds of recreational sailboats moored at its expanded marina facility — one of the largest concentrations of recreational sailing in Korea. Around the port edge, casual seafood restaurants serve the day's catch in raw, grilled, and stewed forms. The port is widely cited as one of the more accessible West Sea sunset spots within day-trip reach of Seoul. Pairs naturally with Gungpyeonghang Port and broader Hwaseong-area drive itineraries.
