Korea Bamboo Museum (한국대나무박물관)

Korea Bamboo Museum in Damyang, Jeollanam-do, is the dedicated public museum on the Korean traditional bamboo-craft tradition — Damyang has been Korea's bamboo-craft center for over 500 years, producing celebrated bamboo baskets, mats, fans, and screen panels for both daily use and royal court consumption. The collection of about 7,000 objects covers traditional Korean bamboo-craft techniques, period craft tools, original Joseon-era pieces (some used at the royal court), and contemporary bamboo-craft applications.
