Why go
Naju Bannam Tomb Cluster is a substantial cluster of pre-Three-Kingdoms-era tombs in Naju, Jeollanam-do — the largest and most important Bronze-and-Iron-age burial mound complex in southwestern Korea, with about 35 substantial mounds yielding gold ornaments, distinctive pottery, and substantial documentation that has helped historians redraw understanding of pre-Three-Kingdoms-era Mahan-period polities. The mounds are designated cultural heritage and accompanied by a small interpretive museum on Bannam-area excavations. Bilingual interpretation. Free entry. About 90 minutes including the museum. Pair with the Naju National Museum or the Yeongsan River area.
