Puldeung Moraeseom is a tidal sandbar that appears and disappears with the rhythms of the sea, making it one of Korea's more quietly dramatic natural phenomena. Accessible only at low tide, the exposed sandbank stretches across shallow coastal waters, offering visitors an unusual walk across a temporarily revealed landscape. The surrounding sea glitters in multiple shades depending on the light and season, drawing photographers and nature walkers alike. Because the sandbar is tide-dependent, timing a visit requires checking local tide tables in advance. No permanent facilities exist on the sandbar itself, preserving its raw, untouched character.
