만송정 숲

Mansongjeong Forest is a famous old-growth pine grove adjacent to Andong Hahoe Village (UNESCO World Heritage), set on the riverside flat ground between the village and the Nakdong River that wraps around it. The grove contains hundreds of mature Korean pine trees that were planted as part of the village's historic landscape design, with the densely-planted pine grove serving both as a windbreak protecting the village and as a culturally-significant landscape feature in the broader Hahoe heritage context. Walking through the grove provides a quiet pine-canopy experience that contrasts cleanly with the historic village walking experience. Mansongjeong is part of the broader UNESCO Hahoe heritage area's protected zone. Best paired with a Hahoe Village walking visit, ideally at sunset or during the early-morning quiet hours.
