Why go
Yeosu Safety Experience Education Center is a public training facility designed to teach disaster-preparedness and safety skills through hands-on simulation — earthquake response, fire escape, water-rescue, traffic safety, and CPR. The center uses full-scale simulators (a tilting earthquake-experience room, a smoke-filled fire-escape course, a swimming-pool water-rescue setup) staffed by trained instructors who work with school groups during weekdays and the general public on weekends. The facility serves both Korean residents and the substantial foreign-resident community in the region. Most sessions are reservation-only and conducted in Korean (limited English). Free entry. Allow about 2 hours. Pair with broader Yeosu attractions like Odongdo or Dolsan Bridge.
