Jecheon Original City Center Commercial District is a designated commercial-tourism district in the historic city center of Jecheon, Chungcheongbuk-do, organized around the city's traditional market and surrounding merchant streets. The district is positioned as Jecheon's main shopping-and-dining concentration, with traditional-market vendors selling regional specialties (Jecheon's famous medicinal herbs and acorn jelly), independent restaurants serving Jecheon regional dishes, and a strip of small commercial shops. The vibe is more local-life than tourist-polished — most foot traffic is Jecheon residents doing daily shopping. Best in late afternoon when the market is most active. Pair with Cheongpung Cable Car or Uirimji Reservoir.
