탄금호 피크닉공원

Tangeumho Picnic Park in Chungju, Chungcheongbuk-do, is a substantial municipal park along the shore of Tangeumho Lake — one of the larger reservoir lakes in central Korea, formed by damming the Namhangang river system. The park combines substantial green-recreation areas, designated picnic spots, a small fishing pier, walking and cycling paths along the lakeshore, and substantial pine windbreak forest. Free entry. About 90 minutes for a casual walk. Best in spring for cherry blossoms or autumn for foliage. Pair with broader Chungju attractions like Tangeumdae Park or Chungju Museum.
