Why go

Jujaksan is a 475-meter mountain in southwestern Korea, distinguished by a substantial granite cliff face on the southern flank that has become a regional rock-climbing destination as well as a hiking peak. The hike up from the lower trailhead takes about 2.5 hours at moderate-to-difficult difficulty thanks to the granite scrambling on the upper sections. The summit ridge offers sweeping views of the surrounding lowland and the South Sea coast on clear days. The trail is well-marked but requires reasonable fitness. Best in spring and autumn for moderate weather. About 5 hours round trip. Pair with broader regional countryside attractions or coastal stops.
