Myeongdong Nanta Theatre

Myeongdong Nanta Theatre is one of the two long-running dedicated performance venues for NANTA, the non-verbal cooking-percussion comedy show that has been one of Korea's most successful theatrical exports since its 1997 debut. NANTA combines chopping-board rhythms, high-energy physical comedy, wedding-catering-kitchen slapstick, and audience participation into a 90-minute show that works across any language — the non-verbal format is deliberately designed for foreign visitors, and NANTA has been on continuous tour to over 50 countries with an international cast pool. The Myeongdong branch is the most centrally located of the Seoul NANTA venues, positioned inside Myeongdong's shopping district for easy walk-in access before or after dinner in the neighborhood's food streets. Shows run daily with multiple time slots (typically 17:00, 20:00) and tickets are available through Korean ticketing platforms (Interpark, Klook, Trazy) or at the venue. Adult ticket prices typically range KRW 40,000-60,000 depending on seating category and show time. Allow 2 hours for the theatre visit (show + queue).
