Seohuri Forest (서후리숲)

Seohuri Forest is a famous public birch forest in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, where mature white-barked birch trees rise above a long stretch of forest ground in dense plantings that create one of Korea's most-photographed birch landscape compositions. The forest's distinctive visual character — tall straight white birch trunks rising in regular columns — has made it a major destination for photography-and-natural-landscape enthusiasts, particularly through Korean social-media exposure. Walking paths thread the birch forest with informal photo zones at peak viewpoints. The forest is most striking in late autumn when the birch leaves turn golden yellow against the white trunks, and in winter when the snow-covered birch grove takes on a near-monochrome quality.
