Why go
Geoje Woojebong Observatory is a hilltop coastal viewpoint on Geoje Island in Gyeongsangnam-do, set on the upper slopes of Woojebong on the island's southern shoreline. The observation deck sits at a viewpoint that gives broad open-sea panoramas over the South Sea — including the offshore islands, the Hallyeohaesang National Park's coastal cluster, and on clear days the silhouette of distant Tsushima — with the surrounding Geoje coastal landscape filling out the lower frame. The viewpoint is reached by a marked walking trail that climbs the upper slope. Best timed at sunrise or in clear-weather windows for the strongest panoramic view, paired with the broader Geoje Haegeumgang coastal route and other Geoje-area headland viewpoints.
