Yeoju Museum

Yeoju Museum is the city-run history-and-cultural museum of Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, set up as the city's flagship cultural-heritage institution. The museum walks visitors through the long history of Yeoju — particularly notable for being the burial site of King Sejong the Great (the most-revered Joseon monarch, whose Yeongneung tomb sits about 25 minutes by car from the museum), King Hyojong's Nyeongneung tomb, and Empress Myeongseong's birthplace, alongside the broader Yeoju-area cultural-historical heritage.
