능파대 (강원평화지역 국가지질공원)

Neungpadae (part of the Gangwon Peace Region National Geopark) is a coastal rock-formation site in Goseong, Gangwon, designated as part of Korea's Gangwon Peace Region National Geopark for its distinctive coastal geological features. The site features dramatic eroded rock-and-cliff formations along the East Sea coast, with the surrounding coastal landscape providing the geological context for the area's UNESCO Global Geopark designation aspiration. Walking paths and viewing decks let visitors approach the rock formations and view them from various angles, with interpretive panels covering the geological history of the area.
