청암동 부군당

Cheongam-dong Bugundang is a preserved Joseon-era community shrine in Seoul's Yongsan-gu area, dedicated to community-tutelary deities (bugun) according to Korean folk-religious tradition. Bugundang shrines were established across Joseon-era Korean villages and neighborhoods to enshrine local protective deities believed to safeguard the community, and the surviving Cheongam-dong site is preserved as a designated cultural-property example of this folk-religious architectural tradition. The compound is small, with the main shrine building, a connecting walled courtyard, and traditional Korean architectural detail.
