Gapyeong Hyeonam Agricultural Heritage Museum is a public museum dedicated to traditional Korean agricultural tools, techniques, and rural-village life — particularly the Gapyeong-area mountain agriculture that historically combined rice cultivation in valleys with terraced cultivation on slopes. The collection of about 4,000 objects includes period agricultural tools (plows, threshing equipment, irrigation devices, storage baskets), traditional rural-village domestic items, and bilingual interpretation explaining the seasonal rhythm of pre-modern Korean agriculture — from spring plowing and rice-seedling transplanting through summer weeding, autumn harvest, and winter preservation and food-storage practices.
