Konjiam Resort

Konjiam Resort in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do (not to be confused with the southern-Korean Gwangju metropolitan city), is a large public ski-and-golf resort operated by LF Group, positioned as one of the closest-to-Seoul full-service ski destinations. Winter operations run from mid-December through early March, with 11 slopes covering beginner-intermediate-advanced terrain across two chairlift systems and one gondola serving the upper mountain. Off-season the resort switches to golf (a 27-hole championship course), summer swimming, and forest-walk programs. On-site accommodation includes hotel rooms and condo-style suites; a substantial dining complex includes both Korean and Western restaurants oriented toward family and corporate visitors. Winter ski passes are typically KRW 60,000-80,000 for a day depending on time slot and season, with rental packages and lesson bundles available. The resort's proximity to Seoul (about 45 minutes by car via the Yeongdong Expressway, or via free shuttle bus from Gangnam) makes it the standard choice for one-day ski trips. Access: shuttle bus from Gangnam Yangjae Station (Line 3 / New Bundang Line) or by car. Pair with a broader Gyeonggi eastern-suburb itinerary if extending the trip, including the Konjiam Ceramic Ware Village and the Cheonjinam Catholic Pilgrimage Site.
