안동 주하리 뚝향나무 is a curated attraction in Korea — full details, hours, and access info on the official Korea Tourism page.
Andong Juhari Ttukhyangnamu is a designated natural monument tree — a 600-year-old Chinese juniper standing alone in the courtyard of a former Joseon-era residence in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The tree's distinctive horizontally spreading canopy, supported by stone pillars in places where major branches have grown too long to bear their own weight, is one of the most photographed trees in southeastern Korea. The setting in a quiet rural village courtyard preserves the original aesthetic of Joseon-era domestic landscaping, where significant trees were treated almost as architectural elements of the residential space. Free, accessible at any hour. About 20 minutes for a focused visit. Pair with the surrounding Andong Hahoe Folk Village UNESCO site or Bonjeongsa Temple.
