Naeyeonsan Bogyeongsa Municipal Park

Naeyeonsan Bogyeongsa Municipal Park is a public mountain park in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, set on Mt. Naeyeonsan with the historic Bogyeongsa Temple as its cultural anchor. The park combines marked hiking trails through dense pine and broadleaf cover, the Bogyeongsa Temple compound (founded during the Silla period as a working Buddhist mountain temple), the famous Naeyeonsan Twelve Waterfalls hiking circuit (a series of dramatic waterfalls cascading down the valley), and viewing decks at scenic points. Spring brings new green growth and azaleas along the trails, summer the strongest cooling effect from the canopy and waterfalls, and autumn full ridge color.
