Andong Folk Village

Andong Folk Village is a comprehensive open-air folk-village museum in Andong, Gyeonggi-do, set up to preserve and recreate traditional Korean village life with particular emphasis on Andong-area heritage. The site preserves and recreates traditional Korean village architecture from the Andong area — yangban estates, farmer thatched houses, ancestral shrines — alongside traditional Korean craft demonstrations, cultural-event programming, and supporting visitor infrastructure. The Andong location places the museum within the broader Andong-area UNESCO heritage context that includes the Hahoe Village, the Bongjeongsa Temple, and other significant cultural sites.
