Jukdosan Observatory

Jukdosan Observatory is a public observation tower on Jukdo Island near Ulleungdo, Gyeongsangbuk-do, set on the small offshore island as a hilltop viewpoint accessible by hiking trail or cable-car. The observatory provides broad open-sea views back across the East Sea, the surrounding Ulleungdo coastal landscape, and on clear days extending toward distant horizons. The site is one of Ulleungdo's most-cited natural-tourism viewpoints. Best in clear-weather windows for the strongest panoramic view, paired with broader Ulleungdo itineraries.
