안동 용계리 은행나무 is a curated attraction in Korea — full details, hours, and access info on the official Korea Tourism page.
Andong Yonggye-ri Ginkgo is a designated natural monument tree — a 700-year-old ginkgo standing alone in a terraced rural setting in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The tree's substantial canopy is one of the largest of any single tree in Korea, with a trunk circumference of over 14 meters at the base. The tree turns brilliant gold in late October and early November, becoming one of the most photographed individual trees in Korea during the foliage week. The setting in a quiet rural valley, with the tree visible from substantial distance against the surrounding green-then-gold landscape, makes the foliage view a destination event for Korean photographers. Free, accessible at any hour. About 20 minutes. Best in late October. Pair with Andong Hahoe Folk Village UNESCO site.
