Pocheon Sanjeonghosu Lake (포천 산정호수)

Pocheon Sanjeonghosu Lake is one of Pocheon's most-cited natural-tourism destinations, set in a forested mountain landscape as an artificially-formed lake created in 1925 for irrigation purposes. The lake's distinctive setting — surrounded by Mt. Myeongseongsan and Mt. Maebongsan — gives it striking visual character, with the open lake surface providing reflective water views back toward the surrounding mountain ridges. The area combines walking paths around the lake shoreline, viewing decks at scenic points, lakeside restaurants and cafés, supporting tourism infrastructure (including the Hanwha Resort Sanjeong Lake), and seasonal landscape changes that make the location particularly photogenic.
