Pocheon Sanjeonghosu Lake

Pocheon Sanjeonghosu Lake is one of Pocheon's most-cited natural-tourism destinations, set in a forested mountain landscape as an artificially-formed lake created in 1925 for irrigation purposes. The lake's distinctive setting — surrounded by Mt. Myeongseongsan and Mt. Maebongsan — gives it striking visual character, with the open lake surface providing reflective water views back toward the surrounding mountain ridges.
