Seongbuk-dong–Bukchon Hanok Village Course (성북동고택북촌산책길)

Seongbuk-dong–Bukchon Hanok Village Walking Course is a curated cultural walking route that connects the leafy old-house lanes of Seongbuk-dong (in northern Seoul, where many 20th-century Korean intellectuals and artists lived) with the well-preserved hanok streets of Bukchon further south, threading literary-and-artist house museums, traditional restaurants, viewpoints, and the gentle hill walk between the two neighborhoods. The course typically incorporates stops including the Kim Yeong-il Choi Sun-u House Museum, the Sangheo Memorial Museum, Gilsang-sa Temple, Choi Sun-u Old House, and the Bukchon hanok streets themselves, with optional stops at small galleries and cafés along the way. Best given a slow half-day at minimum; pairs naturally with broader central-Seoul cultural walking days that include Insadong and Gyeongbokgung.
