Siheung Gaetgol Eco Park

Siheung Gaetgol Eco Park is a public coastal-wetland-and-ecology park in Siheung, Gyeonggi-do, set on a preserved tidal-flat-and-salt-marsh landscape that is one of the metropolitan area's last remaining natural West Sea coastal wetlands. The park combines extensive boardwalk infrastructure threading through the tidal-flat landscape, viewing decks at scenic points, an interpretive ecology center on the wetland's natural-history characteristics, walking-and-cycling paths, and seasonal flower-and-landscape displays. The park is widely cited for its preserved natural wetland landscape within easy reach of Seoul, providing an unusually accessible coastal-wetland-walking experience. Best in autumn for the reed-bed color, paired with broader western-Seoul coastal itineraries.
